Dear Dave~ MrG and I miss you so much. We always had a wonderful connection with you personally and as friends and cohorts on IMVU. You were always so supportive and had fun ideas to add in with our EPIC Venue music festivals and always such a huge supporter of all the fun things many have done and had around the VU. We will miss our chats and extended fun visits thru alexa. I remember when I first met you and you were as fun and helpful then as you were in the end . We will never forget you and your generostic nature :) ( hehe yes i made that word up just for you :D) It was always fun to pal around with you, daydream up fun ideas to mess with on imvu and share our creative minds for things and events:) Your passing landed on the first day of the most recent music festival which I know you wanted to be there. We were blessed to have gotten to speak with you and say our goodbyes and best wishes in the days before. We dedicated the entire festival to you and your memory, shared stories and our hearts. We are hoping that you heard us speak to you through the music and the dedications made by practically every DJ that played. You will always be in our hearts Dave and we think of you with every event we do, ~ you were always such a big part of it for many years. Thank you for being such a positive and fun person in our lives, and thank you for your friendship and love. We are still so very happy that we met you. ~ much love, Gijs and Lisa Van Koerten (Mr& MrsGUCCIoo)

I can’t believe I’m sitting here writing on this page. Our hearts are crushed! Linda said it perfectly. Family was everything to you. My thoughts go back to 1999 when mom suffered her massive stroke. You never questioned the just did it. You left NJ to move to Florida to be one of moms main caregivers. You faithfully dedicated seven years caring for mom. A lot of men couldn’t or probably would not have been able to handle the minute by minute care needed for a Loved one bedridden. You never forgot to say I love you each time I visited or after every phone call. I’ll LOVE and MISS you forever little brother.

Being apart of the Sexton family, for about 50 years, I came to know Dave since he was a young boy, maybe 11 or so.

He loved to venture in many things ... Ham radio (he obtain his license) and CBs.

Speaking of CB’s I can remember helping him put a very tall antenna in the back yard. It was so stinking big ... we had to dig up the backyard and place concrete to stabilize it. Man, he made that thing go way beyond the 5 watts distance (he was probably over 100 watts). He used to chat with people all over the world with it.

As television antennas changed to cable, Dave found the way to get the most out of it (he was amazing at technology, in general). I remember when he was able to obtain just about anybody’s broadcast.

Funny .... Dave and his brother Kevin shared a large space together for tools and the like. Until Kevin, (we used to refer to him as a neat freak, in a good way) kicked out Dave from the closet and the big tool cabinet. I guess he didn’t put it back where Kevin would have liked.

Then the two brothers, D & K, decided to go partners on a car (they both were not of age to drive yet). As my future brother in laws, I tried to convince them to leave it stock. No .., they both decide to pool their money together and “souped” it up.

Dave, my Son and I all have a love for aviation. Dave began dabbling with computer flight simulators (he always seem to now more about aircraft than we ever did, even though he was never a pilot).

... So many cool stories of his hobbies and interests, including building and trying to master the next generation of computers. He last venture was his best ... drones.

He truly amazed me!

He would stand in the front yard and fly it for miles while looking at the surroundings through the monitor. I was really impressed. He found his “nitch”!!!

Dave. You, Gary and I always shared our commonality ...

Gary has passed, now you, Dave 😞. I’ll take care of the Sisters, Mary and Linda.

Miss you, Bro.
