Obituary

Paul John Steady (85 years of age) of Burlington, Vermont, went to be with his Savior on
August 24, 2020. He was an only child born to Harmon and Helen Steady in Burlington,
Vermont. He attended St. Michael’s College and married Rachel G. Senesac (1956) in
Winooski, Vermont. On the Weekends, during the 1950’s he served in the Air National Guard
as a telecommunications technician while working for New England Bell as a lineman. Retiring
from that vocation, he studied for the state insurance exam and worked as a State Farm Agent
for 10 years. To improve the family finances, he studied for and passed the real estate exam
and worked in the business, even owning his own company…Cloverleaf Real Estate in South
Burlington, Vermont.

In 1973, he relocated his entire family, (his wife, daughters, and elderly aunt) to Fort
Lauderdale, Florida, where he continued to practice real estate. Retirement enabled him to
become the local fishmonger for BJs Wholesale. He lived life to the fullest and really enjoyed
meeting new people while encouraging them in all facets of life. He is survived by his wife,
Rachel and his daughters and sons in law: Judith Hipps, Deborah (Chuck Deeb), Kathryn
(Tim Davidson), Margaret, and Theresa (Joe Carroll). Many Grandchildren (14) and Great
Grandchildren (26). He has been preceded in death by 1 Child, 1 Grandchild, and 2 Great
Grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on October 2, 2020, at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale,
2401 West Cypress Creek Road, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33309, from 10:00 to 11:00.
Please express condolences online here. We sincerely appreciate all your
prayers during this time.
