Angel "Bubba" Milanes, 64, of Lake Worth Florida, passed away on March 30, 2024. He was born on February 9, 1960 in Cuba.  Angel, known affectionately as Bubba, will be remembered as a loving father, husband, wonderful grandfather, supportive family member, great friend and a compassionate soul who believed in loving people for who they are. While always proud of his Cuban heritage he believed strongly and passionately in being an American.

He attended and graduated from Cornell University, achieving academic and athletic success: lettering in football and demonstrating leadership as Chapter President at Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He later achieved a Master's degree, demonstrating his dedication to education and personal growth.

He touched the lives of many with his kindness, concern, and generosity, embodying the principle of loving people unconditionally while always encouraging those around him to become their best selves. He had a determination and innate strength and fought strongly for his beliefs.

Angel will be greatly missed by many whose life he impacted none more so than his best friend, Gizelle Milanes Johnston, their son Steve and the grandchildren he so adored: Kyle, Marie and AuroraMay he rest in peace.

A celebration of Angel's life will be held at The Chill Room in Lake Worth on May 5, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
