Ernesto Abad Escobar

Ernesto Abad Escobar, of Lake Worth, Fl., passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025 after a courageous battle of Metastatic Hepatocellular Carcinoma.

Ernesto “Ernie” was born to the late Jose Escobar Sr. and Maxima Abad Escobar on September 14, 1955.

Ernie was blessed with a large loving family. Ernie was known for his warmth, his laughter and boundless dedication to his work. An avid marathon runner, a Taekwondo Champion and most of all a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.

Ernesto is survived by his wife, Maria his daughter, Rachael Sanchez and husband Julian, son Jose Escobar and wife Nicole, grandchildren Alexia Renee Goicoechea, Neilani Sophia Goicoechea, Sebastian Noel Sanchez, Lucas Anthony Sanchez, Jalen Garcia Sanchez, his siblings Rogelio and Merle Escobar and family, Reuben and Celia Escobar and family, Aida Escobar Maristela and husband Paul Maristela, Crisanto and wife Annie Escobar and family and Rodrigo and wife Teresa Escobar and family. He is preceded in death by his brothers Jose Jr., Edgardo, Loreto, Serafin and Efren Escobar and sister Amelia Escobar.

A Celebration of Life mass will be held on November 7, 2025 at 10:00AM at St. Therese De Lisieux Catholic Church at Lake Worth Road, Wellington, Fl 33414 which will be officiated by Rev. Fr. Peter Troung, Parish Priest of St. Therese De Lisieux Catholic Church.
