Frederick “Ric” Clay Dyer, 65 of  Ft. Lauderdale, Florida passed over peacefully in his home on March 14th, 2023.

He was born on April 6th 1957 in Portland, Maine to George and Mildred (Oliver) Dyer.
“Ric" enjoyed being a hairstylist for the past 40 years and had many regular clients who loved him.

He loved to play pool and was even in a bowling league in his early years.
You could catch him at the club singing and dancing and making others laugh so hard they would cry. I know he made me laugh like that on more than one occasion!

With his raw and sarcastic sense or humor, he was quick with the comebacks and was not afraid to tell you like it is! (That's where I get it from) But although he may have seemed a little rough to others, he had a heart of gold that only a chosen few had known.

With his childlike soul He enjoyed The Old Disney Classics and would even shed a tear when he would hear the Old Disney Songs.

He will be sadly missed by those who truly knew and loved him.

“Ric” leaves behind his husband of over 20 years, William Wickham,  whom he loved to go on cruises with along with the many other adventures they shared.

His Beloved Daughter and Only Child, Julie-Ann Marie Letendre, whom he adored and was so very proud of!
A grandson, Layne Thomas Nason and a granddaughter, Nicole Tayla Nason that although they were so far away, they were his world and loved them with all the heart he knew.

Her also leaves behind his sister Cylinire, Laura and Patti Chambers (his baby sister that was always there for him and still is), their spouses, several nieces and nephews and a brother George.

“Ric” was predeceased by his mother Mildred, his father George and two other sisters Donna and Vicky (who could’ve been Ric’s twin being so similar in appearance).

A celebration of life will be forthcoming at a later date in the State of Maine.
