Gail Marie Leonardi

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter of Mitchel and Natalie Listen.

Gail Leonardi, 78, of Boca Raton, Florida, died on February 17, 2026, at Trust Bridge Hospice after a period of failing health.

Gail was born in Rockaway, New York, where she spent her early years. She attended FAR Rockaway High School and after graduation began her career at Peninsula Nat'l Band as a teller. Gail quickly became the assistant manager of the local branch.

In 1968, she married Joseph Leonardi, and they would raised sons, Joseph and David, in Massapequa, New York, where they bought their dream home on the Great South Bay.

Gail and Joe enjoyed 57 years of marriage. In her middle years Gail began a successful career as a realtor. After retirement, they spent many years in the Delray Beach, Boca Raton, Florida area, where they traveled and enjoyed years of happiness and precious time with family and beautiful friends. 

She was always vibrant and happy and will be sorely missed.
