Gertrude Jean Heumann

It is with deep sorrow, that I share the passing of my beloved sister, Gertrude Jean Heumann, on September 4, 2025. Born on December 8, 1982, Gertrude was a gift in life, and her memory will continue to be so. Daughter of Karl and Gisela Heumann, Gertrude is survived by her brother Theodore Kekstadt.

Gertrude was an accomplished student with 2 degrees, and eventually established herself at Monster Reservations Group in Florida. Gertrude had a passion for knowledge and education that she maintained all of her life. Gerti will be dearly missed by family, friends, and all that knew her. Services will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 3535 Thornwood Ave, Glenview, IL 60026, on December 8, 2025 at 10:30am.
