James Clifford

JAMES HALEY CLIFFORD, age 77, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2021 at North Broward Hospital (Hospice) in Pompano Beach, Florida.
Mr. Clifford is lovingly survived by his son, James Clifford (Jill) of Championsgate, Florida; daughter Kari Riley (Chris) of Parkland, Florida; two granddaughters Reese Riley and Sofia Riley, former spouse Linda (Bladon) Clifford, many nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mr. Clifford was born in Winnipeg, MB, Canada on April 24, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, William Vincent and Irene (LaFortune), and sister Jacqueline Mazzelli. Mr. Clifford graduated from University of Alberta in 1967 majoring with a Bachelors degree in Bio-Chemistry. He loved his fraternity Theta Chi and enjoyed time with his frat brothers.
As an executive of numerous healthcare companies, he traveled the world and established great friendships. After moving to New Jersey in 1974, he made numerous friends that became extended family. He loved his toys - cars/boats/phones as his motto was 'those with the most toys wins'. He loved to read and loved to listen to all kinds of music and was an avid fan of Elton John, Billy Joel and Andrea Bocelli.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place and his ashes will be spread in his favorite places around the world. In lieu of flowers, in his memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association by visiting http://www.alz.org.
