James Ivan Cruz Espitia, 48, of Coral Springs, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on March 19, 2023. James was born on July 27, 1974 in Bogotá, Colombia to his mother, Cecilia Cruz Espitia.

He graduated from Arteaga Muñoz school in Bogotá in 1993 and also attended and earned multiple Certifications in construction/drywall at Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje | SENA.

James followed his dreams and came to the United States where he met his wife Diona Kozma and they were married on June 11th, 2016. Together they founded and operated North Springs Drywall, which grew into a very well respected 5 star rated residential drywall installation and repair company. He was very proud of his work and it showed in the numerous reviews left by his many customers.

James is survived by his wife Diona, his son Axl, his mother Cecilia, his sister Gineth Gomez Cruz, his nieces Paula Aguirre Gomez and Laura Aguirre Gomez, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

Services will be held by his family in Colombia.
