Jeanne Price

Jeanne L. Price (85), of State College, PA passed away on May 3 rd , 2026 in Boyton Beach, Fl. 

Born on February 24, 1941 in Brownsville, PA Jeanne was the beloved daughter of Alice Boylan and James Upperman. She grew up in Brownsville and attended The Pennsylvania State University where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees and worked for PSU as the Assistant Director in Human Resources until she retired after 35 years. 

Jeanne was known for her strength, loving nature, supportiveness, positivity, understanding, adventurous fun spirit and sense of humor. She had a passion for animals (especially German Shepherds and horses) and the outdoors. If she wasn’t enjoying nature with her shepherds hiking, horseback trail riding, snowshoeing or kayaking, she would always have a book in her hands. She was a lifelong learner with a deep love for reading. Jeanne was a vibrant and loving mother and grandmother who lived every moment to the fullest. She will be remembered for her kindness, integrity, selflessness, honesty and resilience. 

She is survived by her daughter Kristi Price, son David Price, daughter-in-law Tracey Price, and two granddaughters, Elle Price and Genevieve Price.
