It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Martha Gebhardt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left this world peacefully on March 30, 2025, in West Palm Beach. She was born on July 9, 1951, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of all who knew her with her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love.
Karen was a woman of great heart and generous spirit. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs and happiness above all else. Her gentle presence and nurturing soul made her a guiding light in the lives of her children—Rob, Shannon, Margaret, and Lauren—and her beloved granddaughter and five grandsons, who brought endless joy and pride to her heart.
She was preceded in death only three weeks prior by her loving husband, Robert Gebhardt, whose memory she cherished dearly. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those they leave behind.
Karen’s legacy is one of compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. Her kindness extended beyond her family to friends and neighbors, making everyone feel welcome and valued. She believed in the importance of family, faith, and community, and she lived her life in accordance with those principles.
Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate her life and the beautiful impact she made on all of us. Her spirit will forever remain in our hearts, and her memory will continue to inspire us to love more deeply and live more fully.
May she rest in peace, forever surrounded by love.
