Kurt Donaldson

Kurt Donaldson passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 64, after a short but determined fight with cancer. He was at home in Deerfield Beach, FL with his family by his side.

Kurt leaves behind his wife and best friend of 35 years, Mary Sue, and his three feathered family members. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Kurt built his life—and his livelihood—with his own two hands, working for decades as a master cabinet maker. His true satisfaction came from the custom woodworking projects that allowed his creativity to shine. A true adventurer, he spent the last 20 years on the open road, finding freedom on his beloved Goldwing motorcycle. His home was always filled with love and the lively calls of his birds, especially his African Grey, Ruby, whom he adored.

A celebration of Kurt's remarkable life will be held for friends and family at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
