Leonard Patrick Bulla

February 8, 1964 — October 26, 2025

Leonard Patrick Bulla, born on February 8th 1964, in Long Island, NY was sent to his eternal home on October 26th, 2025, in Dania Beach, FL. He was the beloved son of Placido Bulla and Adrienne Sammartino.

Lenny, as he was affectionately known, was a burst of energy and charisma in the lives of all who knew him. His journey on this earth was one marked by impressive drive, a love for hard work, sales, marketing and negotiating, friendship, and family. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were impacted by him. We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the good memories you hold of connection, laughter, learning, and positivity.

Lenny is survived by his sister, Lisa Amato, his nephew Joshua Weil, his brothers Peter, Sean, and Michael Bulla, his ex-wife and friend Janice Bulla, his beloved daughters Danielle Bulla and Nicole Maldonado, and his granddaughters Gabrielle Panzella and Ariella Maldonado.

After his graduation from Comsewogue High School, Lenny obtained a degree in Repair and Electronics from Grummans Data Systems Institute in 1982. Throughout the years, his strong entrepreneurial spirit led him into different ventures such as overseeing a team as a Field Marketing Manager, owning his own auto warranty call center, crushing inbound sales at Hilton Vacations, jumping on roofs as a Roof Analyst, generating consistent door to door sales, working again as a Field Marketing Manager in Statewide Home Improvement.

Outside of work, Lenny’s personality was infectious. He enjoyed contributing to others, especially his daughters, in his direct areas of expertise ranging from home improvement to vicious car sales negotiations.

Lenny also found joy in spending time with friends and gathering with family for the holidays. Those who know him well will remember him for being a big jokester with quick wit and sarcasm. Whenever he lost some weight, he would often liken it to throwing a chair off a cruise ship, jesting that no one would likely notice. His laugh was contagious and always made conversations lighter. He was a huge New York Mets and Jets fan and absolutely adored his dog, Momo. His favorite song was “Only God knows Why” by Kid Rock, which seems like a timely song as we reflect on his memory.

In spite of the many battles he faced, Lenny found significant comfort in his faith in Jesus Christ. He never forgot the day God healed him of asthma as a kid when a group of friends laid hands on him in prayer. He never had asthma again. Additionally, prior to a surgery he underwent years ago, a doctor took him by the hand and prayed with him. Lenny often recalled this event as another key encounter with God’s presence. He said the peace he felt was indescribable and could’ve only come from God Himself. We hope and pray Lenny is currently experiencing this peace again, in its fullness and completion.

The Celebration of Life service to honor the life of Leonard Patrick Bulla will be held on November 30, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Clermont Baptist Church at 16115 Old Hwy 50, Clermont, FL 34711. The video will be broadcasted live on the Clermont Baptist Church YouTube channel. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests Zelle donations to: 4078642689. Lenny’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his friends and family.
