It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maira Elina Velazquez Gonzalez “Yaya”, who passed away at the age of 63. Maira was born on November 14, 1962, and will be remembered for the love, warmth, and joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

 Maira loved watching sports and cherished every moment spent with her family. Nothing brought her greater happiness than being with her beloved grandchildren, Diego Solano Arraiz (“Rurro”) and Ema Solano Arraiz (“Cachete”), who filled her life with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. 

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Saely and Genesis Arraiz; her cherished grandchildren, Diego and Ema; and her son-in-law, Daniel Solano, along with many other family members and friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and generous spirit.

 Maira’s love for her family was unwavering. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the countless moments of happiness she shared with those she loved most.

 Though she is no longer with us, her love and the beautiful memories she created will remain in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

May she rest in eternal peace.
