Margaret Kay Tohill

Kay Perkins Tohill (1945-2022) formerly of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2022 in her home in Hillsboro, Beach, Florida.

Kay was born to Jimmy Lou Cobb Perkins and Julius Malone Perkins in Gainesville, Florida. Born and raised in Gainesville,
Florida, she graduated from Gainesville High School. Kay moved to Kentucky in 1971 where she lived for 41 years. Kay earned her
Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky. She devoted her life to teaching and serving her students in Clark County, Kentucky for 28 years. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, The Lions Club, GRC Boosters Club, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved music, movies, laughter, friends, and spending time with family. She retired to Florida in 2012.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Lou Cobb Perkins and Julius Malone Perkins. She is survived by 3 daughters, Tonya
(Mark) Snowden, Tracy Tanner, Jessica (Michael) LaBoon; sister, Janet (Robert) Kemerait; 4 grandchildren, Savannah (Tyler) Brown,
Ashley (David) Casavant, Liv LaBoon, and Blaze LaBoon; 1 great- grandchild Nathan Casavant.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022, from
1pm-4pm in the social room at Hillsboro Colonnade, 1161 Hillsboro Mile, Hillsboro Beach, FL.
