Marcia Carlino

Marcia Carlino, born Marsha Stern on April 4, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, was the daughter of Julius Stern and Etta Ludgin Stern. She passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, after a courageous fight with cancer.

On October 18, 1959, Marcia married Joseph Carlino, the father of her children. Joseph preceded her in death.

Marcia was the mother of Craig Carlino of Miami, FL, and Alisa Carlino McGowan (Terence McGowan) of Gainesville, FL. She was also a grandmother to Hayley Kirschenbaum, Joseph Carlino (Leanne Carlino), Jake Kirschenbaum, Brandon Carlino, and Quinn Kirschenbaum, and a great-grandmother to Luke Carlino. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild were an important part of her life story and will carry her memory with them.

Marcia had a vibrant personality, a strong spirit, and a true love for life. She especially enjoyed her many years in the entertainment industry, where she met countless people and formed friendships that remained meaningful to her. She relished the industry's energy and excitement and the many people she encountered along the way. 

Marcia was known for her big smile, unmistakable laugh, and larger-than-life personality. She was strong, independent, and outspoken, always unmistakably herself. She left an impression, and her friends will remember her for her humor, her stories, and the good times they shared.

Marcia lived her life on her own terms and filled it with experiences, relationships, and plenty of stories to tell. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who will remember her in their own special ways.

Her smile, her laughter, and her spirited personality will remain a part of the many lives she touched.

Marcia was truly one of a kind. And will never be forgotten.
