Richard Wayne Glenn, born on March 22, 1947 in Ft. Knox, Kentucky, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 15, 2025.
Richard was raised in Tampa, Florida where he developed a love of boats and the ocean. His early career choices included scraping barnacles from boat hulls in a Tampa shipyard. “That’s real work, man” he would say when reflecting on his early occupations and he often credited those experiences for shaping his character and his appreciation for hard work.
After earning a law degree from Florida State University, he relocated to Palm Beach County where he practiced law for over 40 years prior to his retirement in 2019. Although he was well-liked and respected as an attorney, his true passion was in being a boat captain which he enjoyed for many decades.
Richard passed away peacefully in Jupiter, Florida at the age of 78. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, his children, Shannon and Shane, his four grandchildren, Kiernan, Ryan, Erin and Regan, his brother, Ronnie and his nephews, Mike and Willie.
