Robert Shawn Prestwidge

Robert Prestwidge was born December 5, 1968 to Reginald Prestwidge and Deborah Young (both proceeded him in death). He is survived by his younger sister Tiheema Howell (Raymon Howell) and several of nieces and nephew.

Due to family issues he was placed in foster care where he was lucky to welcome additional sisters and brothers. Pearl, Freida, Darlene, Sharon, Angie, Tajauna, Earl, Hakeem, and Todd.

Robert spent ten years battling cancer but he did not let that stop creativity. He was working on a children's book and spent countless hours on the phone with his sister Darlene discussing everything under the sun.

He shared ten beautiful years with Paula. This is a direct quote “with the deepest love and sorrow for my beloved and best friend of 10 years.”

Letter from Darlene: I am his sister not by blood or birth, but by heart. He was my little brother in every way that matters.
