Ronald Christopher Brace

In Loving Memory of Ronald Christoper Brace born 3/30/1964 in Glen Falls NY who passed away unexpectedly at home in Oakland Park Florida on 7/21/2026.

Ron was raised in Hartford, Manchester and East Hartford until he moved to Florida in October of 2022. He was a graduate of Bulkeley High School in Hartford. Ron was a Loyal, Protective, Helpful and Kind soul. A very simple and private man who was not quick to let you in… but if you were in, it was for life! He was always willing to help with the “hard stuff”. Moving? Call Ron, need help with projects, yard work or remodeling? Call Ron. His personality led him to many years as a corporate and private security officer. He switched gears later in life to helping people with their home projects as an associate at Home Depot for over 13 years in Bloomfield CT and Oakland Park Florida.

Ron leaves his Mother Jeanette Berger of Wethersfield CT, his sister Bonnie Poudrier of Wethersfield CT, his sister Pamela Marcelino and spouse Eduardo of Windsor CT, and brother William Brace and Fiancé Betzy Caban of Windsor CT. Many Nieces and Nephews and treasured close friends.

He loved the outdoors and fishing in any weather, gathering for family celebrations, a good meal followed by a cigar and a brandy, and the company of his select and small circle.

A private family service in CT will be held in September at the family’s request.
