Troy Aaron Lafferty

Troy Aaron Lafferty, of Loxahatchee, Florida passed away on June 21, 2026 at the age of 61. He was born in Beckley, West Virginia to Roy and Laura (Adkins) Lafferty on August 19, 1964.

Troy was known for his mischievous sense of humor and his ability to make people smile with an unexpected prank. He enjoyed the simple things in life and had a passion for Camaros, fishing, boating, and spending time near the ocean. Whether out on the water or working on a car, he was happiest doing the things he loved.

Troy was not a man of many words, but those who knew him appreciated his sense of humor, his love of fishing and boating, and his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

He leaves behind five children: Joshua Lafferty, Melody Lafferty and her husband Phil Harlin, Mitchell Lafferty, Matthew Lafferty, and Nicholas Lafferty. He also leaves behind brothers David Lafferty and his wife, Rebecca, and Timmy “Squirrel” Lafferty and his wife, Rebecca; former wife Dominique Lafferty, with whom he remained friends and shared many years of happy memories; her daughter Sophia; and many family and friends who will remember him in their own special way. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Mary Jane Evans, and his brother Roy Lafferty.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral or formal memorial service held. His friends and family are invited to remember him by spending the day on the water or remembering one of the many moments that made him unique.
